i have done reasonably well on my actively managed LICs considering the market has been less favourable to them since 2014 , i have only abandoned WIC and OZG ( both exited in reasonable profit ) as i suspect the new appointments hint at a style/mandate change , and thus not covering what i invested in WIC...

So far I have taken the plunge on SWTZ (Peter Switzer Fund) and thinking about Balmain private (Balmain Private). On average 7% return seems good for me (ideally after 10% but not found anything).

My questions -

1) Anyone had experience investing with Balmain Private and willing to share experience ?
2) Any other Income funds recommended targetting closer to 10% annual return ?

i hold TAH ( bought @ $2.50 in Oct. 2011 ) and had always had TTS on the watch list ., but never found an attractive price .

now to me the merger deal looks nice for the TTS holder ( at least until the market opened and TTS spiked )

so TTS doesn't want to play yet ( could be a year before the merger completes , so am still hopeful )

is there another way ???
