Perhaps I'm reading it incorrectly but looking at the Navra returns ytd after fees it looks like the retail fund has delivered a slightly better result that the wholesale fund. I had thought that these two funds were invested in the same stocks with the lower fees for the wholesale fund being the only difference so cant undertsand how the retail would ever perform better than the wholesale. Does anyone know?

Yes - it's all about timing.

Each fund has it's own cash inflows and outflows and people buy and sell units. As such, each fund will do trades slightly differently as cash becomes available. The portfolios are never quite exactly the same.

It would never be much, but over time it all adds up.
