CBA - when can I sell and receive div?

    CBA posted dividend today,

    WIth the deutsche bank concerns, and CBA not necessarily a part of my long term plan, when can I sell it and still ensure i get the dividend? Tomorrow? Could I have done today?

    Thanks for answering what is probably a banal question

    From memory if the div is greater than $5,000 then the 45 day rule will apply. Plenty of info on the web on this.

    You could have done a month ago they went ex dividend 17/8/16 so day after that.
