    I love a good conspiracy theory! It's plain that the writers of these articles are trying to pump gold buying up, so they can sell their own gold.

    much like those guys that sell Treasury Bonds ( when the Treasury officials do it )

    with gold you get the chance to take home a real paperweight , to impress your friends ( if that way inclined )
