It reflects ours. We couldn't believe the rental we received for our previous PPOR - it was at least $100 more per week than we expected ! (a good thing too, I didn't realise how optimistic the rest of our previous budgeting was
Hmm, I wish I was getting all this lovin'. Rents increased at my IP this month from 220 to 230, first increase since purchase in Apr 2005. Looks like that'll go straight to the rate rise anyway. Oh well, tis the beast. BR
I know rents in Sydney and Brisbane are rising, but my poor little coastal unit has been vacant now for 6 weeks!! Then again, it may have something to do with the mad neighbour who is turning off potential tenants with her loud TV and her nosey parker movements...... Seriously though, I know that agents and PM's I've been in contact with have been reporting a looming rental shortage, with multiple applications being handed out on some properties. With a Sydney vacancy rate of 1.4% it's no wonder the tide is turning.
