For those of you who follow RPData Pulse news, you may be interested to read their forecast that Adelaide will lead the housing race in terms of capital growth for 2008. See below:

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adelaide is likely to be the standout performer during 2008 During 2007 Adelaide dwelling values increased by more than 25%. This rate of growth is clearly unsustainable, and we expect the Adelaide market to cool in line with national trends. However we do expect Adelaide to maintain a rate of growth higher than other capital cities due to its high level of affordability and the growing amount of resources related activity taking place in South Australia. Our recent Property Insider Report focuses on the key areas of Adelaide that we believe are the best investment hotspots.

Interesting, we have been discussing this over on our forums as well based on Terry Ryders report.. Real Estate Forecast - Australia 2008 - Aussie Tycoon

I agree, Adelaide is certainly a place that we should have invested in about 12 months back to really see some gains.. there are still lots to be had if you get in quick..
