Hi, everyone. I am a newbie. This might be a very silly question but I have no idea. So here it is. My folks own a commercial property near Sydney Metro and they are looking to sell it. They asked me what is the going agent commission for commercial property. They believe the property is worth about $3-$3.2M. I know the residential is about 2.5%-3.5% but I was not sure about the commercial side of it. Also, who usually pay for the marketing? Is the agent commission include the marketing fee? Thanks...
Hi Tim Probably best to call a comm agent and ask. I know that fees are usually cheaper than resi and a fixed fee can be agreed on upfront. Marketing fees are also negotiable. What area are you selling in? I may be able to help with a recommendation for you.
Hi Tim Sorry no I can't for this area but look up some of the larger ones in the CBD such as CBRE and you'll be sure to be able to compare. Best of luck.
