ASX historical prices

    I've been using the SMH & Yahoo finance websites to download historical prices for ASX listed stocks, which is very labour intensive because I have to copy and paste repeatedly, updating excel files.

    I'm wondering whether anyone can suggest or recommend a subscription service that I can join to get this data automatically.

    I've used this in the past, code is a bit technical so don't let that scare you there are plenty of examples and an active mailing list if you need help.

    beyondinvest.com (Vest Data): I download end-of-day asx data directly into my trading software. They may be able to help you with data in a format more suitable to your needs.
