I have only just found InvestED and have been on it all night.

I have read hundreds of posts and it seems when talking about managed funds there are a few discount brokers such as investsmart, 2020 and direct access. I am wondering who is the best and why?

    PS: I work at InvestSMART.

I have swapped to investsmart because of the trailcap and the portfolio management facility.

    Happy so far.

if you dont intend using a margin loan and want to invest in wholesale funds with only 1000 dollars then e*trade is an ok place to start.

if you have enough cash to meet the minimum investment requirements then investsmart looks good. To be honest I havent checked out the features of 2020 or direct access (is that the name of a broker or do you really mean direct access ie invest by directly approaching the fund manager)

    Voigtstr,

You can find them here. I think they are similar to others in that you don't pay entry fees and can monitor all your investments.

I haven't used any of these companies before so can't help with personal preferences.
