I am building a list of the best term deposits and every day accounts.

ING paying 8% for 1 year  Term Deposit

Feel free to add the best interest rates you can find in the market. Try and keep it to AA+ rating at least.

Raboplus have 7.15% for a savings account or up to 7.75% for a 1 year fixed term. AAA credit rating.

    Crc,

Perhaps with another 25 basis point rise in March you will have an arbitrage opportunity. 100k at 8.25% minus 100k at 8.09% and you get a big 160 bucks.

Looking at the last rate rise the banks didn’t really pass it on to the fixed term deposit rates. Rabo already had a 7.75% FT deposit before the rate rise.

Why don't the banks pass this on? Does anyone with a 9%+ mortgage want to borrow from me at 9%? You must promise to pay me back though :D

    Suncorp 8.2% for 12 months.
I'm not sure of their credit rating - may be too risky given current global credit problems.

Rabo now paying 8.05% for 12 months - It is getting better all the time!
