I have come across this list of stock trading books and wanted to know peoples thoughts on what they recommend for learning stock trading? Any additions to this list?

- The Art of Trading - Christopher Tate (one of the best books written about trading & a very good book to start with).
- Share Trading + Trading Tactics + Charts Trading - all 3 books written by Daryl Guppy
- The Secret Of Candlestick Charting - Louise Bedford
- Technical Analysis from A to Z - Steven B. Achelis
- Secrets for Profiting in Bull and Bear markets - Stan Weinstein

If you are a beginner I would not recommend below positions until you become a more advanced trader.

- High Probability Trading Strategies: Entry to Exit Tactics for the Forex, Futures, and Stock Markets – by Robert C. Miner;
- Sell and Sell Short – by Alexander Elder;
- The Complete Guide to Day Trading: A Practical Manual From a Professional Day Trading Coach – by Markus Heitkoetter
- The Master Swing Trader: Tools and Techniques to Profit from Outstanding Short-Term Trading Opportunities – by Alan S. Farley
- Trading in the Zone: Master the Market with Confidence, Discipline and a Winning Attitude – by Mark Douglas (excellent book but for more advanced traders).
