Blocks of cement in garage ready?

    Edit: I meant to say blocks of concrete... o_O

    Hey all

    I'm currently building and I drove past my house and they have these huge lumps of cement in the garage. About 1x1m blocks everywhere. Just arrived today. Is this a common thing? Are they just going to spread out these cement slaps and feel the gaps in with poured cement make smooth to save some money on costs?

    Weird thing is on the contracts (fixed building contract) they crossed off 120 to 100 of cement. (I forgot what is measurement it was). Saying this I do have a very good deal on this house. But never seen this before.

    Reasons to be concerned? Normal house slab was done normal of course...
