Sorry if there's already a post on this- I had a bit of a look around and couldn't find anything.

Is there a company that would lend out say $5000 to be re-paid over a year (maybe two) for the purposes of investing in a managed fund, if I also contributed $5000?

I already have a managed fund with ANZ and I know they do margin loans, but does anyone know if they lend over a short period such as this?

    Maybe a personal loan?

Seeing as you already have a managed fund with ANZ, you may be able to get a margin loan secured against that managed fund. Just check if your fund is on the approved list:

ANZ Investment Lending Approved Securities List | ANZ

The listed LVR will determine how much you could potentially borrow.

This is an option only - certainly not a recommendation!
