I've been out of the financial services industry for 10 years and looking to find the best way to get back into it. I'm nearly finished my rg146 and a friend suggested getting a role with a major bank or amp to build my planning skills. I am willing to take a major pay cut to get back in but was looking for help on who are the best to approach and how much of a salary hit I will take( currently on $95k).
Another option suggested to me was to go out on my own and/or buy a book of clients?
If anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it
