Has anyone heard of a Sydney company who cleans these? I am (almost) going crazy dusting these on a regular basis, only to see the dust settle again within a week. Unlike the good old aluminium variety (which can be carted away and washed sparkling clean!) timber is not the easiest product to keep dust-free.

Sorry dont know any companies but we found it easier to use an old sock over your hand like a glove. Especially good for reoiling blinds.
Only other thing I can think of is maybe static electricity may be occuring depending on the cloth used to clean it?

    Thanks Rambada

I like the sock idea- cheaper than all those Pledge cloths! I guess the answer comes back to good old fashioned manual labour *sigh*

I find the vacuum cleaner with the small round brush attachment great. I close the blinds, do one side then close them on opposite side to vacuum it. The main thing is to do it periodically before the dust turns to heavy grime. It doesn't seem to take very long to do it this way.
