    can anyone tell me the best way to find out the debt level of a particular company

    Hi AL,

    I think the first place to look is the annual report. There are usually three or four tables in the financial section. The balance sheet should list the current (<12mths) and non-current debt (>1yr to repay). You should be able to find the reports on the asx website.
