Hi all, I'm a beginner in managed funds, so would really appreciate if someone can explain in simple terms how this works. Spoke to a Citibank banker today and was told that Consumer Discretionary vs Consumer Staples funds could be a good option besides earning interest from the bank. So I'm just doing a bit of research atm, and the best way to find out more would be to ask you experience ppl in here!

Pls correct me if I'm wrong, was told that my money would go into Consumer Staples and if the performance is better than Consumer Discretionary by a certain %, then there would be a certain % return on my money.

I can take my money out at end of 6 months, 9, 12 months and there would be no charge or any fees.

Has anyone come across this sort of fund, and what is your opinion?

    Cheers.

Do you have a link to a PDS?

    How about historic performance data?
