Darwin: does newspaper advertising work?

    I've had my investment property (2x2x2) on the market for 3 weeks, without any interest. My real estate agent said it's because I've only advertised online, and is pressuring me to spend $2k on newspaper advertising.

    It's the first time I'm selling in Darwin. I know in Melbourne nobody looks at the real estate ads in the newspaper. Is it the same in Darwin? Any other tips?
