    Hi guys,
I have an account with Commsec and would like to know how i would receive dividend if i move overseas for the next couple of years? Is there an option so that it's sent to my bank account?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers.

Most companies should have a facility to pay dividends via direct credit to your bank account. All the companies I've ever held shares in certainly did.

    Hi Ricko,

When you buy shares, the share registry (generally, Computershare or Link Market Services though there are some smaller obscure ones) usually sends out a welcome kit asking for your TFN (TFN form), Bank Account details (Direct Credit form) and/or whether you want to re-invest (Dividend Re-investment Program form).

If you already own the shares, ring the share registry, their details are on top right hand corner of your Holding Statement.

    Cheers,

    Dan
