    Hi (Nigel ?) ,
A close relative of mine has an unsuccessful relationship and looks like divorce is the outcome.
There is a PPOR and IPs involed, and they want to divide assets by transferring ownership, not selling up.
Would the transfer incur stamp duty and CGT ?
(I have heard that there may be exemption on property transfer costs caused by divorce ?).

    Thanks.

    Hi Salsa,

Probably best to speak to a family solictor/lawyer to discuss the finer points of splitting up the family assets.

    Cheers,
