Who'd be mad enough to do their own conveyancing?! (unless you're a conveyancer/solicitor or have vast experience and/or contacts and knowhow) It always strikes me as odd that inexperienced buyers will choose to save $800-1200 on paying an expert, when purchasing an asset that runs into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.... sheer madness
