    Dollar defies recipe for currency collapse

    The US Federal Reserve is printing money. The US government is also spending wildly today so there won’t be a depression tomorrow.

    No doubt that when it comes to fiat currencies the uSD is looking pretty good right now. Though I'll be interested to see what the market thinks of the USD's value against commodities in 6 - 12 months from now, when the debts have really started to mount and things are looking even darker still...

    I'm expecting oil, gold and argicultural based commodities to do very well, in the back half of 2009, if not earlier.
