    Hello,
I am trying to gain some clarity about how superannuation payments (in the form of a disability pension) would affect eligibility for a Centerlink Disability Support Pension for permanent blindness.
I understand that the DSP for permanent blindness is not means tested for assets or income, but can't seem to figure out if the Superannuation Pension would be considered a Compensation Payment.
    Any feedback welcome!
Oh, they are my eyes, so I'm trying to do my homework.

    Hi

I don't think a pension could be considered a compensation payment. It is not really compensation but a payment from the fund based on a condition of release.
