Employee Entitilements

    Quick Question for the board.

    Say there is a Family trust with a Company as Trustee. That company goes into administration, employees lose their entitlements. However the PAYG for those employees were been paid by "Trading Name" which was owned directly by the Trust.

    Does that mean the Trust owes the entitlements, or have they gone down with the company.

    Hope that explains well.

    So you have Company_Name Pty Ltd as trustee for Trust_Name trading as Trading_Name ?

    Or do you have Company_Name Pty Ltd trading as Trading_Name ?

    Was it the company which owned the business, or the trust which owned the business ?

    We have Company_Name trading as Trading_Name ATF "Trust"

    However the PAYG was always paid under the Trading_Name with the Trusts ABN

    Confused?
