Hey guys, I am just curious I couldn't locate anything previously about this, basically I am wondering if there is any super funds that offer an ETF option? Obviously only interested if it is relatively low cost. I can see how this could be done in a SMSF however as I am still young the cost of opening and maintaining a SMSF would be prohibitive at this stage. cheers, David
Hi Davo, Depends on the super fund. If the super allows ASX shares then it would possibly have the ETFs available. You can always ask the super funds if they let you buy shares, if yes, ask them if there is any restrictions, eg, TOP300 or all shares. Cheers, Dan PS This is general information and does not take into account personal situations. Speak to your FPA registered Financial Planner before making an investment decision.
As ETFs are just another type of investment intruments offered thru ASX, you can buy them in your SMSF and I believe most wraps offer ETFs too. You can get the product list from their websites.
