    Hi there

I am nearly half way through my diploma of financial planning.

I have started to look at the potential career paths into the industry and was hoping to see what other people think, or even better some real life experiences how they made the switch.

From what I can you basically need to start off as a client services adviser before perhaps moving into a para planning role and then into the financial adviser area.

Has anyone done any research and got any other ideas? Real life examples would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Scott

    Hi Scottie,

Depending on where you are with experience, that's generally the steps most people take.

    Cheers,
