I have a lovely wool carpet which has had Fanta spilt on it a day ago. I didn't realise how difficult orange colouring is to shift- or rather, not!!

Does anyone have any solutions for me here? I've tried Preen carpet cleaner (which is usually great) with absolutely no effect whatsoever......

Okay, I really hate to ask Jacque (in case it hasn't shifted) but how is that stain looking now that you've tried a few things on it? :(

Nothing worked, despite my best efforts and a heap of suggestions from fellow SS investors :(

However, I am officially over it and will invest in an IKEA rug to cover the evidence. When I sell my PPOR, I'll be sure to stand over it when delivering my sales spiel :D

Hahaha at least you have a healthy attitude.

I dropped a 2 litre bottle of raspberry cordial off the island bench in a rental many years ago and it fell and burst on a beige berber carpet. :(

Best I could do was fade the stain slightly and position the dining table over the top of it.

Carpets are really not very family friendly are they?
