Has anyone else noticed how useless and incompetent recruitment agencies and even financial services companies are in general with the ads they post online for job positions? Not only do they sometimes post the same job two or three times in a row, but there are spelling mistakes, incorrect grammar and essential information missing that an applicant would need to know which would affect their decision to waste their time applying to these clowns. I say this as I apply for jobs in financial planning and I am shocked to also discover that a lot of these job ads require applicants to have university degrees just for a basic admin assistant role. I think this is BS and it really proves the saying that it's not what you know it's who you know because if you had connections in higher places you would get the job you want or better. If you are a recruitment agent - you are an idiot also.
