    I read this in this article Rent out your house and avoid Capital Gains Tax

    For the purposes of CGT, what is deemed an acceptable period?

    Hi Rheo,

    From the article...

    "On the proviso the above two points are met, if you rent out your home for less than six years, you are exempt from CGT."
