Funny RE experience!

    As I enter so many properties there's not much I now haven't seen but a funny one happened to me on the weekend. One of the owner-occupied houses I entered DURING AN OPEN HOME had not one, not two but three people asleep in 3 of the four bedrooms. When I asked the owner (who was present) what the story was her response "Oh they stayed up late watching movies so I let them sleep in..." AMAZING! As a result, no one could really have a good look around in any of these bedrooms but I'm still reeling from the fact they were the owners....... talk about not wanting to really sell one's house. Oh, and the open was from 1-1.30pm :eek:

    Maybe they were sleeping on purpose with the aim of distracting people from taking a good look at those rooms??

    Agree Bill. I suspected it was a case of a couple of families living there together so who knows the story?! It wasn't a shortlisted house in the end, however, so I never followed up.
