Hi there .. I just got a letter advising of a class action against Great Southern for olive plantation I stupidly invested in some years ago. Has anyone else received a letter of this type. They're giving me an option to opt out of the class action but I don't know what to do. It would be great to get my money back but I don't want to get hit with legal fees etc. Has anyone received one of these notifications? What should I do??

    I would appreciate any feedback.

What are the terms in regards to fees?

Hi Terryw .. It says that I will not incur any legal costs by remaining a Group Member. This document is not on any letterhead though. Maybe I should just call the solicitors mentioned in the document and ask them. I'm just hoping its not a scam of some sort. I tried googling this but nothing recent comes up. I'm also a little surprised that no one is talking about it in this forum. .... Have you heard anything?

    Thanks for your reply.

Strange that it is not on letter head. Probably best to do some checking.

I didn't invest in this, just asking out of curiosity. Good luck with it.
