It amazes me how companies with a great business and ideas go under because of greed.

I am thinking of ABC learning, Credit Corp and Centro.

All had great businesses but management was too greedy and borrowed too much money to grow as fast as possible. Result, they became their own worst enemy.

Anyone know of any other companies that might fall into a similar category?

Well, in retrospect we can call it greed. But at the time, I'm sure they believe they were ensuring they were efficiently using any 'lazy dollars'.

I guess the other side is we could blame the markets and the geedy investors that wanted more and more profits and returns in an ever shrinking market:confused:

Things just can't keep going up and up...
