With the market turmoil I wanted to be able to work out the Share Price when a margin call would be triggered. I know the size of the loan, obviously the current share price and number of shares held and the stock LVR (say 75%).
I rationalised the formula would be:
    $Trigger=Loan Value/(Shares held*.75) in this instance
I rang the lender and he said not correct but when asked what it is they said they work another way on percentages and they don't have a tool for the angle I am asking.
I got to your site today and I guess others will be working from my perspective and it will be a frequently asked question.
    Thanks in advance
