I live in the inner west of Sydney, so all homes are terraces, bugalows etc... I have received a letter from the local coucil that they want to single my home out and Heritage list it. I don't want this!! How do I go about stopping the local council from doing this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
You should be able to fight them but you need to have good reasons. Did they say the reason for listing it? This website could be useful Heritage Branch - Heritage Listings - Effects of Heritage Listing
