Went and visited a house recently which had very nice decking.
The space, however, between the slats, was just wide enough to consistently catch the heel of my brand new shoes. Bugger!
Embarrassing enough to have to stop and remove one's foot and try to dislodge the offending footwear, but now I have damaged heels...... *sigh* A woman's lot is indeed a tough one at times! You blokes thank your lucky stars you don't need to put up with such mishaps :D

My heart goes out to you. I did something similar on Friday. Stripped a three quarter tear in the leather on the stilletto. So a girls best friend is a tube of supaglue and a pin. Put the glue on pin. then use same pin to hold corner of torn leather down to dry. Then give said shoe to old man to polish as it was probably his fault anyway. :)

Maybe blokes wouldn't be so keen on women in heels if we knew the sort of maintenance required ! ;-)

Once again, I thank God I'm a bloke. My biggest decision regarding shoes is whether to wear the black or brown pair!;)
