    Interesting link- thanks Simon.

    It's small wonder with the costs associated with moving (stamp duties, loan costs, removalists etc) that less people are choosing to do this and stay put, electing to engage in renovations instead.

    There will always be a demand for good quality builders and assoc tradespeople as well, particularly in this DIY nation of ours :D
