Gold got to around 1007 - you were right. Heavily sold off today , might take the profit on KCN and get out this morning me thinks.

    Perky,

There is nothing wrong (so far...) with KCN - (broke up 61.8% retracement level = good news).
    Watch $ 4.80, but it may go to $ 5.60 & $5.92 ... ;)
Go with a trend as long as possible and trail your stop!!!!!!!!!

Actually Men in Black are ‘shorting’ gold (current price = $ 962.30)
Short/middle term cycle on gold (mid points): $905... $939...$984...$1010...$1030...$1069...$1102

Happy Trading and keep $$$$miling :D

    DOW

I found below info somewhere in cyber space...

“DOW low on June 27, 1932 was 42.93.
DOW high on October 9, 2007 was 14164.53

    50% retracement between low 42.93 and high 14164.53 = 7103.73.

DOW low on Feb 23, 2009 was 7106
DOW effectively retraced 50% of the 77 years move."

    DOW

    O.K......So far so good....:p
DOW broke down 6790/83...(closed at 6763).
With a bit of ‘luck’ ;) and corporate support DOW may hit 6605/6598....6449/42....
    Possibly ?? trading range = 6760 ~ 7040 (approx.)
    Happy ‘shorting’! :D

If you consider yourself an investor and reading this and other sites you should be familiar with a basic terminology (incl. jargon) in this business.

Rubbish Tropo. People also come to sites like this to learn from people like yourself who are experienced investors.

Learning requires a bit of work and effort.
It seems that some people are just too lazy to do a homework and try to find an answer to trivial problems by themselves.

Don't forget that part of the problem when first starting is that you generally don't know what you don't know, so actually finding an answer may not be as easy as it is for someone with more experience in that area.

    Back on Topic.
Do you consider this a dead cat bounce or is it now full steam ahead with a few minor retracements along the way.
    Regards

Sure ... but this apply to completely ‘green’ individuals – not to those with some degree of knowledge and experience.

    Denis,
I must admit that I am a bit surprised with a length of a current run, which is not sustainable IMHO but may continue for some time.
Nothing goes up or down in straight lines, so how painful pull back may be is anybody’s guess.
It is too early for any sensible conclusion about future market's movement right now.
Big caution is required if you consider entering the market. Just make sure that you do have an exit strategy in place when music stops.
Watch US market after stress test announcement on 7-th of May...

Well Mr Market has spoken - and he seems to be over the bad news.
9% unemployment in the USA and the DOW goes up another 165 points. Monday should be a pretty good day.

8600 is resistance and 9000 is the next barrier after that.

I've got 9090/94 but 9000 is a psychological barrier not technical (IMHO).
