We need a bungie rope, not a parachute

The Australian market is expected to open with sharp losses, as weak base metal prices and the slide on Wall Street take their toll.

At 0700 AEST, on the Sydney Futures Exchange, the September Share Price Index was down 79 points at 5702.

Massive rally today, but is it just another in a series of knee-jerks or a strong base to continue to new highs?

Strong base??? It went down over 2% on Friday and up 4.6% Monday??? I don't see much consolidation

I expect a lot of volitility to come and a lot more 'godzilla's ' coming out of the US. But thats just my opinion.

    Sorry... Being Sarcastic:eek:

    Yep...More to come.
Important level for XJO is at/above 6180/6200 (if we get there sometimes in the future).
Until than...parachute, pillows and cold blood is highly recommended.

Did I miss something? How come most of the stocks I watch are showing red today? I thought it was supposed to be gaining?

2 steps forward, 1 step back. Be thankful its not the other way around! Less than 1% off after a 4.5% rebound is a very happy day on the stock market for me...

    Cheers,
    Michael.
