That was my thought too: profit taking. Who wouldn't on the back of a 4.5% spike, the biggest in 10 years.

At least it seems they've cleared their sell outs now and the buyers have the floor again. Back in the black by lunch time. Lets hope she closes up again today. Should help restore a tad more confidence.

    Cheers,
    Michael.

    Back in the black!

Market up strongly today too despite a weak lead from the US overnight. Currently trading at 6015 for the ASX200. Nice to be on the right side of 6000 again! :D

    Cheers,
    Michael.

One day, I'll give it a try.. after I've edumacated myself, and once I have a nice big buffer of cash to play with.

For the moment I'm happy for fund managers to move my money around.

So far its been a profitable dip.

    Bought RHG - .89 TLSCA - 2.73 and ZFX - 15.01

So far up about $80k or 16%, this is adding in the telstra div which went ex on the 20/8.

These I don't see as long term holds but will be selling within 3 months

    Cheers
