    These islands are a great idea but Dubai climate is too hot IMO

    I tend to agree with you...but climate would not be my only concern...;)

    Dubai is a closed country. The rich are given a blind eye. Get caught out, though and the lack of a judicial system is brutal.

    Tend to agree - I wouldn't live there without enough money to own a very fast boat so that when the government changes their mind about capitalistic westerners I could be hauling ass to Saudi Arabia.
