I was just wondering what people's opinions were of investing in apartments on the Gold Coast. I was recently looking into it and it seems there has been quite a drop in the prices of apartments (though there is a lot of supply coming on board in the near future - ie Soul). I noticed Q1 has a lot of apartments up for sale - what do people think?

thats the only place i would PERSONALLY not by ever...

to many similar apartments, to much compitetion (ie apartments above you with a better view)... i would maybe look at a house around there but i would stay away from apartments..

this is my opinion and is based on no factual conclusion, just from my own readings and opinons...

When I think of gold coast apartments I think of ageing blocks with high maintenance and high strata fees.

I also believe that as the cost of living goes up people start to tighten up their belts and they will be holidaying less so Gold coast and other tourism regions could suffer.

    Cheers
