    Hi,

I want to invest in Foreign currency (eg. USD) - no trading just invest and hold fo few months. What are the options available in the market - contracts, foreign currency accounts, managed funds?

    Thanks.

    Foreign Currency Funds

There are Foreign currency funds, they are managed and they trade your money on your be half which is different to your idea of buying US dollars and hanging on to them.

It all depends on how much money you have, and what outcomes you want and what risk profile you are in.

There are also capitial gaurantee funds available, that provide you the upside of trading profits, whilst protecting your downside. However you need to be prepared to have this fund run for 3-5 years and be a "sophisticated" investor.
