..... and was charged $16.05 according to the message for the privelage of being told to call back later because all the operators are currently busy. Then it disconnected me.

     LOL !!!!

So yeah. I'll post back later to see how much contacting TICA as a tenant will cost me in the end as I do want to know whether or not I'm on it even tho' I shouldn't be as far as I'm concerned.

yeah that sucks, i wonder how much per annum TICA pulll in from the phone calls, $327 to speak for an hour! Staff are probably on about $25 per hour.

    Why don't you email them:
    [email protected]

Or maybe you have to be a member to do that...?

Failing that, maybe you can ask a nice real estate agent or property manager to find out for you.

I wonder too now how much TICA pulls in as they just made $33 ($16.50 per call) off my two phone calls which were diverted to a message to tell me all their operators are busy and to call back later only to be disconnected.

I wouldn't be the first to give that phone number a go only to receive that message and those charges. Damn.

No. The only other option as a tenant and non-member to find out information on myself is to postal mail them and that takes too much time (see the website).

It's okay anyway. It's all sunshine! I'm not listed.

I would be calling the telecommunications ombudsman. What service was provided for the 33$ fee?

Can I be so forward as to ask why you thought you were on the list in the first place?

    What service?

The only "service" I can garner I was given was the fact that the phone line existed and I was told via the recorded message that the operators were busy and to try again later...

In re: why I wanted to find out. If you want the long complicated story feel free to PM me as it is rather long and involved and I don't feel it needs to be posted on a public forum (take up space).

I tried to write a short summary of events yet even that wasn't short. lol.

Let's just say that as a future PI, I have learnt ALOT !!!
