Loving the forum topics and am finding them very helpful. Am trying to complete SRP and have passed FFP and RM.

Just need to clarify termination payments. Kaplan subject notes refer to concessional contributions being the taxable amount of directed termintion payments in excess of $1.1M (up to 30 June 2012) Chapter 3 pag 15.

Yet any other research I am doing on ATO site and other major fund manager sites refer only to a limit of $1M.

Maybe the limits changed, but I can't find any confirmation or clarification or am I missing something?

    Hey,
Try reading 4:12.6 I didn't find this section relevant to the assignment or to the exam. It was only available to those that had an agreement in place prior to 2006 and discontinues in a few weeks so it won't be relevant in the industry anymore either.
Not to be confused with ETPs (life benefit termination payments)

    Hope that helps
