    Only time will tell, but with the cost of taxes on new housing still at record highs (approx $200K in NSW on a $500K house and land package) it's going to have be very attractive to make a real difference.

    I fail to see how this will reduce the rental on properties though. I though the rent was determined on what the market would bear, not by cost savings to the investor.
