Managed Funds Leveraged Equities and Navra American fund

Sim is correct, Leverage Equities have listed the Navra Blue Chip American Fund in their stock list, however, as with all margin lenders; they have placed a limited on what percentage of loans they are prepared to hold against the FUM. Because they assess each fund separately and the American Fund value is relatively small, the limit has essentially been reach. So until the fund grows the LE door is now closed. Navra Invest is in the process of speaking with other margin lenders about the American Fund. I suggest clients dealing with a financial advisor speak directly with them and those not speak with Teresa at Navra Invest regarding this matter.

In response to some of the interest rate postings of recent, NFS has negotiated a rates schedule (dependent of amount loaned) with margin lenders for the benefits of its clients. All clients are offered the same rates which we understand to be highly competitive. While margin loans are often seen as simple and have less “features” than a home loan, they do differ and, service levels vary considerably from lender to lender. I would caution against blanket comparisons and encourage clients to talk to their advisor (if you have one).
