    FAN has had a take-over offer from Freedom Furniture parent ( a South African company )

    since this LIC in particular is strongly tilted towards opportunism , was it bought on straight good value metrics , or a correct suspicion this offer ( or a rival one ) would be made ??

    i was trying to post the new ( released at the end of the day holdings for WAX to show how active they can be .

    i noticed CDM ( a LIC i hold ) is back into holding 30% cash .

    while one LIC won't tilt my decisions very much , a trend of managers holding more cash could slgnal a dip in the near future ... say a group expecting disappointing earnings .

    could be something to watch
