    Definition:

    A multi-storey, multi-dwelling building with typically no more than 3 floors (including the ground floor). Usually, low rise buildings do not have elevators, only stairs.

    Any building with more than 3 floors will typically need elevators, and is generally termed "high rise".

    • Walk-up
