If I understand correctly ... the 4.67% will not all be distributed rite ? Some is kept in case the following quarter does not perform as well ?

I understand however that ALL trading profits must be distributed at the end of the financial year.

No - that total return will include some capital gain component. The actual trading profits (that get distributed) will be somewhat less than this figure.

.....and yes they can choose to withhold some of the trading profits of interim Quarter distributions to possibly 'even out' certain lower performing quarters, but yes......in the final quarter of the year, all realised profits from the full year's trading, dividends and interest would have to be paid out.

I would expect where possible they would try and keep the Quarterly Distribution to be around the 2-2.5% mark as a minimum to assist those with regular interest payments etc.

Keeping back a bit this Quarter may be prudent anyway. Did you see how much the ASX went up again today? Surely a pullback will have to occur sooner rather than later.

I'm happy with any distribution, and I treat every distribution as though it will be my last ;-)

Just fortunate timing I think. I just got my "time for a review" annual letter from Mark Raymond which had an update of the components of my asset portfolio in it. Mark's been helping me a lot lately, and is still providing me an excellent service.

    Cheers,
    Michael.

    Ditto.

Another 'credit where credit is due' story......

I recently asked Mark to have a look at a number of 'figures' for me as I was in a situation at the time where I needed some quick answers.

    Great response.

    :)

Navrainvest web site now has latest unit prices and distributions, retail was 3.5 cents or 3.64% (after a small technical glitch I notice...)

Its 3.5 cents, and I think they'll fix the 3.64% shortly which is obviously just a technical glitch. How can you have a 3.64% return on a 3.5 cent distribution when the share price is over $1.00 per unit. Obviously just a glitch as you say. Should read 3.25%.

    Cheers,
    MW

Good question! When can US fund investors expect their first distribution. March or June? I would have thought it a bit early for a distribution this quarter and thought the first distribution might be in June?

As I only bought units this financial year - could someone please post the tax information from last year's statement. How each part of the distribution is treated, like for other unit trusts?

NFS have advised me there is no distribution this time for the US fund - wishful thinking on my part since my funds would have only been in there 1 day.

    Hi,
If what Michael is saying is correct, and it is only a technical glitch, Navra personel are certainly tardy in updating this data. And I find this a little disturbing. We have Navra people on this forum, and yet the message still hasn't got through. If it is wrong, how difficult is it to correct the error!
I often wonder about organizations that offer solutions to the big picture, yet can't get the little things right. The company I work for is a classic example, unfortunately.
I am a shareholder and investor in Navra, and I expected a quick response.
    Am I too harsh?
