Margin Loans Margin loan for the missus

    Now that the missus is working I want to gear her into some investments.

    Given that the interest deduction on joint borrowings can be attributed to the owner of the purchase asset is there any advantage to us having two margin loan accounts or should I just choose the convenience of adding her name to mine and increase it markedly?
